Carlos Crameri is the CTO & Co-Founder of Global Background Screening with 18+ years in the industry. He got his start in the background screening industry as an intern while at Kennesaw State University, then spent years as a hands-on court runner — including work with Thomson Reuters Westlaw Division—tracking down records at courthouses and managing nationwide researcher networks. That on-the-ground work shaped his core belief: the best, most compliant background checks come from the original source, not just bulk databases.

After a stint in fintech at LendingPoint, Carlos saw how much faster and clearer technology could make screening.
