HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Getting started is simple:
- Choose the country and service you need from the options above, then proceed to checkout.
- If you're a new customer, you’ll receive an account setup form to sign electronically. Once completed, you'll get login credentials to access our screening platform and track all applicant statuses and results.
- Your applicant will also receive an electronic authorization request, sent to the email you provide. The name you enter under “Employer Name” will appear as the requester.
- Once the applicant signs the authorization, you’ll receive an email confirmation (“Order Processing”) and the background check will begin.
- When the report is complete, you’ll be notified by email and can also view the full results on the platform.
That’s it—fast, easy, and fully digital.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE THE RESULTS OF AN INTERNATIONAL BACKGROUND CHECK?
The turnaround time vary depending on the country and service. You can view every country and service's turnaround time by clicking on the dropdown menu above and selecting the country. Typically, results can be expected within 2-8 business days.

Our platform offers a variety of international background check services, including criminal history checks, civil checks, employment and education verification, credit history checks, bankruptcy, social media, global sanctions, and identity verification. If there is a service not listed, contact us as we have many other less common services that are not listed on this site (Like Right to Work, Attestation etc...).

CAN I TRACK THE PROGRESS OF MY INTERNATIONAL BACKGROUND CHECK REQUEST?
Yes, our platform provides a user-friendly dashboard that allows you to monitor the status of your background check requests in real-time. You will also receive email notifications when any updates or results are available. If you're a new customer, you'll receive an account setup form after you order and then receive credentials.
HOW ARE EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATIONS CONDUCTED?
GBS will attempt to contact each past employer, supervisor, and professional organization a maximum of 5 times for a span of 10 business days. If after these attempts, the verification has not been obtained, GBS will record the employer as "Unable to Verify" in the final report. If the verification is received after 10 business days, a supplementary report will be issued.
REFUND POLICY
There will be a 3.9% credit card processing fee on cancelled orders after payment is made if order has not started processing.
No refunds will be given if applicant has signed the authorization form and order status is in "Processing".
