FDLE is Florida's Department of Law Enforcement which is responsible for handling any and all Florida background checks for civilians.

Under Florida’s public records law, you can request a state only criminal history record check. Some employees are required by law or policy to have periodic state and/or national criminal history record checks through the regulatory or licensing agency.

• FBI Background Checks - emailed results are usually within 24-48 business hours (There are additional costs for mailing a hard copy)
• Florida Department of Law Enforcement Level 2 Live Scan - (FDLE) results are within 72 business hours
• Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) results are within 72 business hours

YES, you need an ORI number. This is where the background check will be sent to. Make sure you ask your employer or whoever is specifically asking for the Level 2 background check for the ORI number.

If you type the wrong ORI number, it will go to the wrong department and you will need to schedule new fingerprints.

There are no refunds for incorrect ORI number after you have been fingerprinted, so please do not assume!

After payment, applicant will be directed to the Fingerprinting Scheduling form where you can choose the closest location to your home.

You will then receive an email confirmation of the fingerprint appointment. The applicant must bring the email confirmation to your appointment. Show the fingerprint technician the confirmation page.

There will be a 3.9% credit card processing fee on all cancelled orders after payment is made.

There will be a $20 processing fee if a refund is requested AFTER fingerprints are scheduled but you never show up for the scheduled appointment.

There will be NO refunds if you get fingerprinted and then cancel or provide the incorrect ORI number.
