Tracy Shatus brings over 30 years of investigative and background screening expertise and a proven record of building reliable, compliant screening operations. She began her career at the respected private investigation agency Data Probe, where she specialized in complex records research and investigative case management. She went on to own and operate Global Info Source for more than 15 years, building a reputation for accuracy, discretion, and client-focused service. Tracy’s deep investigative background and operational leadership ensures that GBS remains meticulous, compliance-focused, and service-oriented while scaling globally.

 

Carlos Crameri has worked in the background screening industry for 18+ years. He began his career as an intern at a criminal data wholesaler while studying at Kennesaw State University and spent years as a court runner, including working for Thomson Reuters Westlaw to retrieve and verify public records. He also managed large networks of courthouse researchers nationwide. These early experiences taught him a foundational truth: the most accurate and compliant background checks come from going directly to the original source — the courthouse or official record — rather than relying only on bulk databases.

After nearly a decade building large criminal data networks, Carlos expanded his expertise into FinTech, joining LendingPoint, one of North America’s fastest-growing financial technology companies. There, he saw how far behind the background screening industry was compared to modern, tech-driven platforms. His vision for GBS was clear: bring the speed, transparency, and user experience of FinTech to background checks, while preserving the accuracy and compliance that only true source-based verification and human expertise can provide.
