Global Background Screening Information Cited in U.S. Department of Justice Proposed-Rule Economic Analysis

Global Background Screening’s publicly available pricing and service information was cited in an economic analysis accompanying a proposed rule issued by the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Security Division.
The analysis cited GBS’s $150–$250 pricing for business background checks and described information available through those services, including company registration, directorships, financial information, judgments, liens, bankruptcies and credit risk.
The analysis also identified GBS’s International Screening Checkout Portal as the source for estimated country-specific costs covering criminal and civil records, identity verification, bankruptcy and credit records, employment and education verification, global-database screening and social-media screening.
The proposed rule’s footnotes additionally identify Carlos Crameri and his March 21, 2023 publication, Business Credit Reports for Informed Decision-Making, while citing GBS product pages and archived copies of the referenced materials.
